THOUGHTS ON RAGHU AND MESSAGE TO ASPIRANTS
RAGHU…first of all I would like to thank RAGHU that he gave me a chance to prove ma self .he gave ma chance to prove it to everyone that I m mentality and physically fit.I can do anything that I wish to do in my life. I will always be thankful to RAGHU and MTV for giving me such an opportunity. Now few things about RAGHU. He is the only person that I have seen in my whole life who is so passionate and dedicated to his profession and work .Apart from professional life he is the a very nice human being. People have a misconception that RAGHU is a rude and ill mannered guy but trust me he is not, but only thing you need to keep in mind is that never ever mess with his crew members otherwise he will make your ass so hot so fast that you won’t even believe it. RAGHU’S dialogue.
BORING –SUZI, SAMRAT, KIRI, NATASHA
MOST BORING-NATASHA
MASTER PLANNER-SANDEEP
BRAVEST-SUFI
HONEST-PAULOMI
SEXIEST MALE-ME
SEXIEST FEMALE-NEHA KAPOOR
ASPIRING ROADIES- for aspiring roadies I would like to repeat RAGHU’S comment that never ever fake in audition or in game .just be what you are…never try n be underdog that won’t help. Play your game fair or unfair. Give your best in each and every task. Task should be the first thing that you should focus on and if that won’t help use your brains then.
SANDEEP\'S PICKS
According to me SAMRAT is the only guy who is surviving on the show from beginning and in that ways he is the most deserving then PAULOMI. NATASHA, TAMANNA excluding PALAK, SUFI and NAUMAN because they are wild card entries and hence they haven’t survived from the beginning and missed the most part of the game. so no wild card entry should be a winner.
According to me TAMANNA or SAMRAT should get voted out because of SAMRAT and TAMANNA. I lost my friends in the game.
PAULOMI and DEV are not at all fit to be a roadie. They do not have a fighting spirit and they give up easily .PAULOMI wants to survive through their underdog and innocent looking nature and DEV through his idiot and dumb nature.
I guess DEV was disliked the most because oh his idiotic nature and irritating habit.
I guess I am the biggest kameena of the show because my game was the strongest I voted each and every person I wanted to till the date my friend was with me and my aim was to take all the Delhi roadies to Australia and i guess I was successful in my plans only ROOP was left because of SAUZI and NATASHA …so I took revenge and voted NATASHA’S best friend out and according to me backstabber is miss TAMANNA who said something and did something. Atleast I said n voted that person out but TAMMY never did the same.
I would have voted SAMRAT out instead of me because he betrayed me but I didn’t do that because I thought is more deserving then TAMANNA hence she should go. NAUMAN, TAMANNA, NATASHA and PAULOMI all were ready to vote him out but I was shattered as all my friend were out of this shoe in just two days. So I was not ready to vote SAMRAT out others were not ready to vote TAMANNA out and finally what I realized that they are going to vote me out because I had no plans or begged in front of anyone to save me or not to vote me out. I thought its better to be out of game then without friends.
All my friends out in just two days and all my enemies got wild card entry and joined my other enemies led my vote out.
My friends on the show are ROOP, PARDEEP AND BOBBY.ROOP good looking girl…well mannered and cultured. She was tagged as a mastermind but frankly she doesn’t even use it. She is so emotional that can be fooled by anyone. PARDEEP only guy who cried and was regretting for each and every voted out person...And he used to confess it in front of the person even though votes rare supposed to be anonymous. He was not fattu like other people out there..He was always ready to face any challenge against anyone. BOBBY one daring girl who never stepped back even after having injuries in both legs and for which she was not responsible... still she fought with Palak and even smashed her hard and I guess PALAK would have been hospitalized if me and SAMRAT would not have been there and saved her.
Roadies that I hated in the show are DEV, TAMANNA, AND NATASHA.DEV because of his irritating nature. He just needs to mess with everyone and for no reason. Tamanna for her games that she used to play with me and NAUMAN..thinking that I have a soft corner for her which she might b able to hit but I proved her wrong and made her life big hell and NATASHA because of her betraying nature.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT
If could have changed something that would be voting out NATASHA instead of ROOP because ROOP asked me to save NATASHA and not her because she never thought that other group would plan for her.
My most memorable moment in roadies was when ROOP, PARDEEP and I used to dance together and that particular step was choreographed by me known as (haram dance).
There is one particular incident which I think was funny .till today I laugh at it it .IT is when girls wrestling started and PAULOMI came out crying that she can’t fight then in this cat fight it felt like their is a strip show going on. They were ready to tear their clothes apart and TAMANNA was alone fighting with NATASHA and SUZI but still NATASHA was crying for help that suzi where are you?? plz come and help me.
TASKS & MORE
My first task in roadies proved that it is going to be real hell this time. We all were lucky enough that no one in our team was weak everybody was strong enough to complete this task. Even though I felt that this was the most dangerous and unsafe task. It was the most hurting. Going up and coming down through commando net and then through mud covered with some stainless steel wires and the toughest part paranthas with no curd, pickle or water was tough to swallow.
Second task was worse when I saw that it was hell only for boys that was ball bursting task. Every time that stick connected to spring touched my balls I felt like abusing girls for their illiterate behaviour. But anyhow we survived.
Then there was patience testing task in Mt. Abu where you suppose to eat and hold on to your poop for as long as you can. I decided not to do this task because I was already feeling like running to the loo and I personally feel that I can’t hold it for longer so I thought instead of loosing it’s better quit.
ONE OF THE MOST ADVENTUROUS THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO MY LIFE
It is a wonderful feeling to be a part of Roadies hell down under. It is like the biggest opportunity that one can ever get in his life. So grab it with both hands and that’s what I did .when I got selected from so many people it was like dream come true for me. From past 3 years I have been dreaming of becoming a Roadie and when I finally became Roadies I was feeling like on top of this world. Till today m not able to believe that I final went to roadies. In Delhi it is the toughest thing to achieve. People coming in Delhi for auditions are much more then any other city, people here are crazy to be a roadie. But not everybody is known that being a roadie is not that easy. To b a roadie one needs to be active in life, should be aware of things happening around him, should be adventurous, and should be able to defend himself.
When I was voted out of the show I was little disappointed because I already knew that only one is going to be the winner so everybody has to go out one by one. So I was prepared for this.
Yes sometimes it feels that roadies and vote out is bit unfair to us but you have no other options you have to face everything weather fair or unfair. In my case I never felt that I was unfair to me and the person whom I would have voted out instead of me would be SAMRAT or TAMANNA because she was the one playing dirty games with the guys and SAMRAT because he always asked me to play fair gamE with him so that only deserving may remain in game but he proved himself wrong in wrestling task when he saw that PARDEEP and KIRI are busy in wrestling with each other so he took the advantage and threw both of them out of ring and also because he voted ROOP out 4 no reason.
Roadies makes you feel that you are some kind of king or prince of some country and that’s because the way we are treated. We are made to stay at 5 star hotels in a beautiful location .you party and enjoy it like superstar but all thing just disappear in one sec when a toll comes and it says that roadies be ready for your next task that is when it feels like hell. Roadies is one of the most adventurous thing that has ever happened to my life. At one moment you are star treated with full of luxuries and the very next moment when it comes to the task it feels like you are prisoner.

BE YOURSELF
To become a Roadie, there is only one quality you should have and it’s the Roadies quality; the quality to ‘be yourself’. Learn to define ‘be yourself’ for yourself. Watch the Roadies DVD Cheat Code time and again to learn to ‘be yourself.’ If you know what it means by ‘be yourself’ then your are not far from becoming a Roadie. Learn to speak Hindi if you can’t or are not good at Hindi. If you are a smoker or drinker then learn to quit them from now on because in Roadies smoking & drinking are a complete no! Please be a gentle driver. Never under perform in any task, give more than your best. Performance is all about what the audience look for from you and if you don’t perform then you lose a respect.
RAGHU, RAJIV, RANNVIJAY AND NATURE BABA
The Roadies creators:
Raghu:
Most people might be thinking that he’s a person who likes shouting and yelling at others, likes screwing others. But the fact is that he’s a very humble person, very friendly and doesn’t carry any celebrity attitude. He’s very fashionable, I like his collection of jeans, just love his dressing sense. The best thing I like about him is his ‘respect for girls.’ Person like him with such a formidable personality is rare to find, I do admire his presence of mind. Whenever I see him I get very excited and gain confidence
He’s like my ‘Idol’. Raghu is a wise man.
Rajeev:
I don’t know much about him, but he seems humorous and more matured than Raghu.
Rannvijay:
He doesn’t carry any celebrity attitude and is very down to earth. He’s friendly and makes others feel comfortable to talk with him. I like his confidence and naughtiness.
Bumpy aka Nature Baba:
I never saw his anger during the journey. He’s very caring, behaves likes a big brother with the Roadies and it is because of his caring nature that I felt homely in Roadies.
FELLOW ROADIES - PART1
Bhanu: He’s the only person among the male Roadies who I felt could be my good friend. He is a friendly person, doesn’t carry any attitude, never poked his nose into other’s personal matter. He is interesting to talk with, cool personality and down to earth person.
Neha: She is a friendly person, confident and I like her smile. She is a good girl.
Ankur: Talkative guy, I like his dancing moves; hip-hop style.
Vicky: If he was on the journey for a long time the he’d be one of the master planners teaming up with Sandeep, Pradeep and Roop.
Sonia: She is the most beautiful female Roadie, the sexiest, one of the two most honest girls next to Paulomi. The most well dressed girl who knows what fashion is all about. If she was on the journey for a longer time then she’d be one of the most famous Roadies. I feel she’d be a good performer in tasks. It was really sad to see her leave; her exit is unlucky for the Roadies audience.
Sufi: He doesn’t carry an attitude and I find this guy friendly. I hope he performs well in the tasks and goes a long way in the journey.
Bobby: She’s very adamant, arrogant and short-tempered girl. She’s still adamant though she could not excel in any of the tasks. But she’s being what she is. The best thing I like about her is her caring attitude for others. I think she’s the one who intervenes the trio master planners Sandeep, Pradeep and Roop from playing nasty politics.
Sandeep: He’s a nasty politics player who always likes to bully and make fun of others. He didn’t excel in any of the tasks. He’s the most boring Roadie to me. But he’s a better looking person than Nauman.
Suzanna: She hated me a lot but I still don’t know the reason why she hated me. I was friendly with her and worked always in her favor whenever she was in danger of being voted out. On the night of Roop vote out, had I not worked in favor of her; she might have been out. Again on the night of her vote out I tried my best for her from not being voted out. She failed to realize my friendly gestures. She’s a clever girl and can play mind games.
Nauman: He’s a self-styled most good looking and stylish male Roadie, who has a lot of interest in girls. His ego let to his downfall. Sandeep was telling the truth to Tamanna on the night of the ‘talk time’ that Nauman went to them and shared about his intimacy with Tamanna and asked if he should continue. Even I was there in the scene when Nauman said these things to Sandeep and Pradeep. Nauman trusted Sandeep and Pradeep blindly, I thought I was the biggest fool but Nauman turned out to be more foolish than me. His performance in the cattle dung collection task was pathetic. But there is one good thing about him that he doesn’t speak ill of others, he doesn’t backstab.
THE TASKS
The Chandni Chowk Paratha: This task seemed really difficult, it was very challenging. I might not be able to perform well if I was to do so. I supported the green team so felt very bad that they lost and had to go home. I was all the way thinking that in Roadies the exit of Roadies is a ‘making’, that we will be able to meet the guys from the green team in the hotel. But I was shocked they already left the hotel by the time we reached our hotel rooms. I came to realize that Roadies is called a reality show because everything in the show is real.
The cattle dung collection task: I wanted to collect the fresh dung but was told by Pradeep our captain that I should collect the dried ones with the girls which he made a good choice for me. I’d say that the credit for our gang’s victory should go to me because maximum of the work was done by me. I alone carried three full baskets of dung of which two were collected by me alone. There was only one basket of fresh dung collected by the other team of our gang.
Hit in the balls task: I got three shots but the first two could not make an impact to me. But the third and last hit caused a nerve wrecking pain to me. I found Devarshi really funny the way he reacted when hit in the balls. He he he …sorry Dev, but don’t worry you will have children.
The horse dance task: I had a tough time being with the Brats gang. Initially I was happy with my gang but slowly I realized that I was in the wrong place. Pradeep and Sandeep kept on making fun of me and bullied me. During the practice session my time with the Brats boys was really tough. Maximum practice was done by me but Sandeep always found a fault in my moves and yelled at me. Unable to bear the bullying, I got angry with Sandeep. I was even ready to go for a physical assault if he started first. Then in the evening when our dance was over I was the most appreciated one among the three of us by the audience for my performance. I felt bad when the audience threw slippers on our gang girls because our girls’ performance was better than girls of Om Blues. And for the Om Blues girls, it was because of Paulomi’s performance their day was saved.
Tight rope race task: I volunteered to walk on the rope but Suzanna didn’t comply. I still regret even today for not walking on the rope. Hats off to Tamanna for her great performance.
Laxative task: Since the morning I didn’t shit on that day and I was feeling to shit right after our Rajasthani lunch. After I took the medicine, instead of having the feeling to shit I was feeling to puke badly. As soon the task was over I straight away went to the loo and things were coming out from both ends! The whole night we Roadies had a tough time. Had to visit the loo again and again and again…phew!
Pot balancing task: I do admire Paulomi for performing the task so wonderfully. I don’t think any other Roadie will be able to perform like Paulomi in the task. I wanted to do the task and expect that every Roadie should be made part of all the tasks.
Pool mein pool task: I am so proud that I am the best performer in the task. This task was interesting at the same time challenging.
Coffin task: This task was all about thinking fast. We were put into such an unexpected situation that we didn’t know what to react. But Devarshi’s foolishness saved our day. He was saying ‘I am safe, I am safe’ the moment he came out of the palace. Even I was expecting a twist like Devarshi did.
Wrestling task: This is my favorite, the most interesting and most memorable to me. I expect a lot that in Roadies, tasks should involve a lot of strength, energy, pain, endurance, etc. I may be victorious or vanquished in the task but I am happy with such tasks where I can perform with intensity. Anyway, hats off to Samrat. But I’d say that I was not that bad at the task and was a strong contender. What say Samrat?
The girls’ wrestling was a fun to watch but at the same time I was afraid that the wrestling might turn into a striptease.
Finally Australia:
I felt as if I was in my dream when we landed in Australia but there came a shocking when the three voted out Roadies came back and were given a chance to take our place; that they will be fighting for their place challenging any three of us. Initially I was not scared to face any challenge but slowly I had the feeling of my insecurity in Roadies. So, I was dependent on my luck. It was for the first time in Roadies that I didn’t want to do a task. And there came my unlucky day, had to take up the task and was defeated by Sufi. I wish that Sandeep should be there instead of me. I was defeated by 11 seconds but I do accept my defeat. I congratulate Sufi for his victory and hope that he doesn’t involve in playing nasty politics on the journey.

THE ROADIES - A MIXED BAG
Roop - she been an angel on the show, (love u lots)
Pradeep - Very short tempered but a fabulous person within
Dev - he is a major psycho case on this planet, I think he needs to reassemble himself
Sandy - sweet in a 'chalak' manner...
Tammana - according to me she is a meethi churri..
Poulomi- she is a sweetheart and I just loved her matka task..
Suzi - looks like a matchstick, fusebulb, dheeli dhalli, doosro ke isharo pe chalnewali..(Confused bimbo)
Samrat - A wonderful singer with gr8 body n respect for women.
Natasha - she thinks too much of herself, she's not as smart as she thinks she is...
I think Palak should win coz she is a deserving roadie amongst the left out, and when I think of people that are not fit to be a Roadie, I would say Dev and Polo, why?? Well everyone knows that..
• Boring - Sandeep
• Master Planner - Roop
• Bravest - Tammana
• Honest - Polo n Pradeep
• Sexiest – Male - Samrat
• Sexiest – Female - Myself :)
For all aspiring roadies - Just be yourself... (Chill yaar)
I THINK I’M BETTER AT JUDGING PEOPLE NOW...
Finally writing about the most happening days of my life..!! I never expected that after such a fight with Ragu and Rajeev, I will be selected I was really shocked and thrilled. I think I’m better at judging people now after being a part of MTV Hero Honda Roadies. It has helped me to identify my own personality and to see myself in other phases of my life. Also I had never been to Australia before, overall it was a great experience
First of all, I was NOT voted out, I was switched with people their...I went out with a lot of dignity n I kind of feel proud of it... :)My overall experience was amazing, smashing, full of excitement, it was outrageous... specially my yellow bike yay!! I love it :)... (Witch I didn’t get to sit on much)
All the tasks were well thought of and amazingly well planned, but I want to know who gave that "julab ki goli" wala idea... My favorite Task was "Kushti task” in Sillvassa which I cud not is a part of...If I cud change things, I would’ve loved to change my decision of giving Sandeep the immunity and given it to my angel "Roop" instead
My most memorable moments: Sweetest - my trip to Australia... Saddest – Roop’s Vote Out (I can never forget how that b!%@h Natasha played a game against roop) I think she should be voted out next... Coz now everyone has seen her double sided face and if still they don’t do, so then "God bless them" She is the biggest Kameena & back stabber on the show.
PARTING WORDS- Pradeep's Blog
I really respect Raghu a lot as a person because I think he values everyone around him and he knows how to get best out of a roadie. Before roadies my only wish was to meet him once and I am happy that it got fulfilled.
My message to aspiring roadies is guys and gals its not easy to become a roadie and its even tougher to survive still I would say try once who knows your gamble works for you like mine did.
THE OTHERS
I still remember that period before Roop’s vote out how she convinced us not to vote against Natasha and in return Natasha voted her out. i wish I could have been more commanding over Roop and Sandeep so that they voted against Natasha as planned. Natasha is Shambhavi of this season. She is a girl who knows how to use her beauty and brains. She did well to get sandy by her side.
For rest of roadies Dev…Dil ka acha hai but I guess I will again kick him much harder if he repeats that. Samrat… he’s a player who knows how to play his game and being honest and straight at the very same time. Suzzana…she’s big time fake because they show you that they have nothing against you at face but they never show what they feel inside. Palak….Rakhi Sawant of the season.. She was loud that made her different from others. Tammana…clever girl I would say she knew how to turn the tables. Nauman.. I would say over hyped Roadie… all he wants is a mirror, I guess if he wins from here would want girls as a prize instead of money, “ladkibaaz” is right word to describe him...Kiri…feeble natured can be easily influenced… Sufi…I never talked to him so I don’t know him as a person but yes I liked his roadie spirit. Paulomi…she was good…had nothing against anyone.
Roop, bobby and Sandeep were my friends on the show and really enjoyed every moment when I was with them. After Roop’s vote out I was sure I will be out soon because I was low on motivation .bobby was really nice girl and I likes her we were like buddies. Sandy and I were always there trying to make everyone laugh and playing pranks on others.Roop... I respected her...Her opinion always mattered before every vote out.
I would like Sandeep or Sufi to win because Sandy plays a fair game everyone knows what he’s up to, while Sufi performs task well. I wish Natasha goes out next…she’s not fit to b a roadie she hasn’t performed In any task. Akhada task she won because Suzzana wanted her to be safe..i wish roop was there in that task. I think biggest kameena’s and backstabber’s are Suzzana and Natasha. Roop trusted Natasha blindly but she had to pay for it. I don’t think Natasha had any feelings for anyone on the show
Boring- Nauman[his best friend was a mirror]
Master planner- Me and Sandeep
Bravest- Sufi
Honest- Bobby
Sexiest female- Roop and Bobby

COFFINS,RAGHU'S BLOG- TWISTS AND AN ABBERATION IN GANDHINGAR
The look that was on the Roadies face was really a once in a lifetime experience, for them seeing Rajiv and Me together really meant double trouble, but the way I see it there was no particular reason behind us landing up in Gandhinagar just like that. It is just that the sequence of experiences and situations that we have constructed for the roadies was designed to slowly and steadily turn up the pressure on the group of intrepid adventurers and also, along the way, give ourselves and the viewers opportunities to observe and examine the behavior of this bunch in these situations. For me, they are metaphors for real life and the real world we live in today. For us the Roadies, the cast members, as well as the viewers expect certain things from us, they try to anticipate our thought process. This is why I find it particularly challenging and interesting to be at least one step ahead of them in this mind-game. The roadies knew that this outing could not be as simple and innocent as we were making it seem. Their imagination went wild as they tried to anticipate what we really had in store for them. But not even in their wildest dreams did anyone even suspect that they would come face to face with the twins.
Just like I said before their expressions were priceless! I t was a mixture of amazement and the feeling of their hearts sinking... But if people this it was the sight of Rajiv and me that scared them, they are wrong, when they saw the coffins for the next task you could sense the fear from their trembling bodies, not every task on roadies is a physically challenging and personally, even in the physical tasks, I am more interested in the mental aspect of it. For example, the underwater pool task had its physical difficulties. Roop has aqua-phobia (not "hydrophobia", as people mistakenly refer to the fear of water), and kept telling herself that she would overcome it. But she couldn't. I was confused till she told the camera after the task that she was sure she wouldn't be able to do the task before she went in. I believe half the battle is won or lost in your mind even before the battle begins. The coffin task, more than a task for the roadies, was a situation thrown at them, to see how they would behave in it. and, depending on their behavior, they would face the consequences. The task didn't end with the Roadies coming out. For me, it went on till the vote-out.
This was a real simple task compared to the previous ones, the only difference was that, a lot of mental strength was required to perform it, the task was as simple as it gets. Put one of your gang members in the coffin and come out before the other gang to win immunity. The brats got it. So did the om-blues gang, except Devarshi. He, as usual didn't know if he was coming or going. He did understand the task, but he thought he was too smart for the masterminds of roadies and thought he would turn the tables on them by volunteering. He was sure that there would be a twist where the guy who went into the coffin would, instead of getting eliminated, win immunity, and he would also become a hero for his gang by "sacrificing" himself, poor guy... I’m really sad that he's not on the roadies journey anymore. I loved watching him! He is such a space cadet, he can't help being totally entertaining. But no matter how much we like or dislike a roadie, we cannot interfere in the elimination process to protect someone. Devarshi dug his own grave and literally laid down in his own coffin.
To be honest there were a couple of reasons for our losing our cool at him. By trying to act smart, anticipating the twists and volunteering to lie down in the coffin, he robbed us of the opportunity of observing the group dynamics that this task was designed to bring out. but more importantly, he had displayed outstanding stupidity. And that is something we are not tolerant towards, and Oh my God the lies! To cover one lie, he kept on lying again and again. He kept tossing and turning between "I’m here only to win the game" and "I sacrificed myself so that my gang could benefit". Beyond a point, even stupidity is no excuse for this crap…
The Roadies think they are real smart, just because they have observed the previous seasons, its not only them who have done their homework, but so have the other thousands who came in for the auditions, its just that we keep changing each game from season to season, to keep the cast and the viewers on their toes, people may think that they are predictable, but no, they are not. And neither is the story that is unfolding in front of the world.
The “Coffin Task” was the only task that I felt that there was no point trying out before the roadies did, because the Roadies crew is like an army, with a hierarchical structure, and are too used to work as a cohesive team, rather than work at cross-purposes. But we did need to know if the coffin was not too small and claustrophobia-inducing, and that there was enough oxygen for the roadies. This, I confirmed by lying down in the coffin for 15 minutes. Given a choice, I would love to bury danger Debby in the coffin! I have my reasons, believe me...
RAGHU'S BLOG -SILVASSA - THE LAST INDIAN OUTPOST
As the journey in India has come to an end I must say that I am very excited. The kind of stuff we've thought out and fixed up in Australia is mind-blowing, and I can't wait to see how the roadies fare down under. But as people who understand roadies know, going abroad is a big deal for us, and the last destination in India is always the setting for high drama and action. The roadies will be tested on many things before they can go to the next level in Australia. And I was particularly keen to see what choices the roadies made in Silvassa.
Even though there were a series of events that really annoyed Rajiv & me, I was not upset with it. While taping a reality show like roadies, one cannot dwell too long on what has happened. One has to constantly focus on what has to be done and shot. The twists and turns were mostly decided before we set out on the journey. The rest of it is always improvisation, based on how the story develops.
This is the reason I broke the teams and battle it out against each other, I wanted the roadies to understand that not only is the game going to get much tougher in Australia, they also will not have the support of any gangs. Its each roadie for himself or herself. It also gives another clear difference in the game in India and Australia, helping Australia truly become the next level.
For me, it is always interesting to see how people behave when they have to work against their friends and team-mates. The ‘Akhada’ task also helped in making the roadies understand that they are truly alone in the game. They cannot count on people who they consider their friends. They are too busy fighting for themselves.
Many people felt that it was not right for the girls to do the ‘Akhada’ task, but I don't agree. Why not? If we are putting the boys in that situation, will it not be unfair to not put the girls through the same? And we're not getting the girls to fight boys, after all. But on a different note, we had told the girls what to wear so as to avoid wardrobe malfunctions, and when things threatened to go out of control, we stopped the task and warned the girls against fighting unfair.
We can only set up a situation. What happens after that and how the roadies behave are things we don't have any control over. The story must not be tampered with. It must unfold whichever way it has to. But we can show everything that happens as honestly as we can and leave the viewers to react whichever way they want to.
The time has finally arrived where we will be going to the next level. The journey through Australia is going to be full of twists, shocks and dangers of many kinds. Rajiv and I could be a part of that, and maybe pay a surprise visit, but obviously, i'm not gonna reveal that right now.

NAUMAN's BLOG A ROLLER COASTER RIDE -- THRILLS AND CHILLS
well!!..getting selected as a roadie and leaving thousands of people behind me gave me immense pleasure and a feeling of accomplishment and being diffrent from the rest!.and it was tougher for me because as i was fasting and went through the whole audition without food and water!..i not only passed raghus terryfying tests but also d test of my will power!.i always wanted to make it big in life and thanks to raghu and mtv roadies i suceeded at achieving my ultimate dream!
roadies for me was a roller coaster ride, lots of thrills and chills, when u think the first twist is scary the next one is scarier!..the first day at roadies felt like heaven,we were treated like stars and tht nite after the party,'hell' began!.getting through d first challenge raghu threw at us was fun!i was confident i would be in it!.i ate soo many dry parothas tht day!..no ghee no achar was too tough!..lol...bt ironically tht ws the most memorable task for me because it ws challenging, intrestin, rough n touch n ironically,if we dint win that i would hav been back home, probably eating my moms parothas!..hehe..
our flag off was exciting as bike riding is a major part of roadies!i got a red bike which was my favourite and i had varisha wid me and ten hour long ride dint feel too long at all!..we got along really well and make good conversation, she sang songs for me to keep me awake and alert while riding which was very sweet!..was a fun ride!.sufi and varisha wer mere closest friends initially but unfortunately both left the show and left me al alone to face the brutal roadies!
i think PALAK was d most irritating girl, charecterless and she would use the worst language without any shame!.she like me initially and tried hitting on me and when tht dint work she started hitting tammana!..hehe..palak was responsible for the rumours of the kiss between me and tammy and she was surely jealous of us!..me and tammy became really good friendas and fought the storm togethr!.and after sufi and varisha went she was d only person i felt nice to spend time with and could trust her blindly!
my vote out was very shoking because,DEV,whom i supported and trusted the most voted against me!and also d prevoious nite before the immunity task sandeep said to me tht 'if tomorrow 'brats' lose immunity please save me,and convince dev and tammy not to vote against me'!..i promised him tht il make sure he would be safe but made a deal wid him tht if we lose immunity u make sure tht u and pradeep dont vote against me,dev and tammy!.and he agreed!.so at my vote out i ws cheated by the peeple i trusted, and d people i supported ended up stabbing me and finishing my roadies journey!.thats was d reward i got from dev and sandeep for standing by them!
dev is dumb to hav voted me out because i was his only support and i dont think he will be able to think and plan without me!

Hell of a Producer
The story of Raghu Ram’s life swings to two extremes. The brain behind (and co-host of) “MTV Roadies: Hell Down Under”, Raghu is one of the most hated and one of the most popular faces on Indian television. He’s the guy who gave the telly a much needed tadka with his acerbic comments and mind-boggling mind-games on “MTV Roadies” since its inception in 2002. And it was just a twist in the tale that transported him (and twin Rajiv Lakshman) into the world of television; the duo would have otherwise been minding a shop someplace!
Changing lanes
Raghu stuns you with the revelation as he narrates the reason behind his unconventional choice of a career. “Rajiv and I were never keen on studies. For myself, no subject succeeded in enticing me to pick up the textbook — save for History. Scraping through school, we went into science in keeping with our parents’ wishes and failed! Next, we went into the Arts and again failed! We were 20 years old, when we dropped out of college and almost agreed to run a shop that dad decided to open for us. We got an opportunity to train at a TV channel and life zoomed into another lane altogether. So you see, I didn’t choose any career; simply because, I had no choice! I took what was offered to me and am happy to have done well!”
Well, his choice was unconventional, especially since he opted to become a behind-scenes-person than a vee-jay. “I could never become a vee-jay! One needs to talk properly and to all kinds of people for that and I’m not that someone! For starters, I was a complete Hindi-speaker till about eight years back; I couldn’t even speak fluent English, one of the prime requisites to become a vee-jay, especially in a channel like MTV,” says Raghu dismissing assertions that, that is exactly what he has become with *Roadies’ now. “I’m not a vee-jay on Roadies.
There is no such job profile on the show. If at all, there’s an anchor and that is Rannvijay who’s doing a great job. I’m happier behind the camera, brainstorming ideas and directing the show. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of shooting, editing, creating tasks.” In fact, when Roadies begun, I was not on the show; I came on later during season when the auditions started being aired and we desperately wanted a person who’d understand the concept of Roadies out-n-out; would be able to sift through the contestants to create the most interesting mix; and would speak Hindi! Luckily or unluckily, I was the only one who fitted the criteria and thus came in front of the Roadies camera by default!” reveals Raghu who further stuns revealing that he was never in favour of the auditions being aired!
“As the conceptualizer of MTV Roadies, I was dead against the auditions being aired because I was sure that after some time, people would come prepared for the auditions; thus killing the fun and probably, the purpose of the same! I find traces of my fear getting manifested now but so far we’ve been able to adapt the format such that contestants still face the unexpected” he says smiling his rare smiles. All said and done, Raghu has become a ‘personality’; an ‘icon’ and there’s no denying that. “Well I’m in denial; at least I’d like to be. I know I can’t – but, that does not mean I’m happy with it!
Most people would give a leg and arm for the kind of popularity I (and Rajiv) are enjoying today even though it swings to negative extremes in my case. But I’m not amused at seeing my face on hoardings or getting marriage proposals dime a dozen or receiving death threats with alarming regularity. It’s not for the humour or gore associated with the aforementioned; but because my becoming a ‘known face’ is proving to be deterrent in my role as a selector on Roadies.
“The profile requires me to be a keen observer of human behaviour to deduce their characteristics but now, people don’t behave naturally with me as a ‘celebrity’. Add to that, the fact that I get crazily mobbed due to this celeb-hood, makes things very difficult when all I want to do is have a satisfying shoot. Furthermore, the very implication that I’ve ‘created’ a personality is disturbing because I’ve never sought to change my style, language or mannerisms so that I could become popular.
It’s the way I’ve always been; I’ve always lashed out at bigots intending to create dangerous rifts, at people who act supercilious or disrespectful for no reason, at people who treat women as inferiors, or at blindly biased people who refuse to live and let live. Whether I meet one of these sorts on the show or whether on the public level, I react in the same way,” explains Raghu giving a glimpse into the reason behind his recent outburst against Pramod Muthalik during the Mangalore pub incident.
“But, when these traits of mine, which remain constant on and off screen, get bottled into some kind of a formula to be emulated, I don’t find it exciting because it does nothing for the show, which is my prime-most priority; as also, it alludes to the thought that I put on a mask or act on the show, which I don’t!” But Raghu admits that he’s not proud of the extremes of love and hate he elicits. “ “Nobody likes to be hated and I’m no exception. I’m not scared of being one of the most hated guys but it’s not nice to receive SMSes threatening to kill you or have e-games like ‘Slap Raghu’ that makes me think, ‘are there so many people who’ll jump at slapping me, given the opportunity?’
On the other hand, to get bizarre marriage proposals or have them tell you that they attribute their life’s success to your advice on the show is also unnerving because it is a major responsibility. I’d rather people just take what they like from my advice or personality without attributing it to me,” clarifies Raghu adding that’s why he abhors terms like youth icon being stuck on him. “Now that’ll be really scary!” he shudders.
While Raghu is best known as the progenitor of Roadies, not many know that he has also supervised hit shows like “MTV Love Life” and led the first few seasons of “MTV Select”. In the recent past, he’s also been *the brain’ behind shows like “Splitsvilla”, “On the Job” and “It Sucks”! One can’t help observing that Raghu enjoys pitting people against each other. Raghu accepts, “It’s not the complete picture. I enjoy watching people; and popular behaviour is most candidly expressed in face of competition. But, I don’t intend to exploit the weaker person because, having been a skinny guy who got punched in his young days, I would never put anyone through it with an idea of sitting back and watching the fun!”
Double trouble
Coming back to “Roadies”, Raghu says it has become more exciting after Rajiv joined him. “Rajiv’s the wit behind ‘Roadies’; he’s always been there with me behind the camera and it was Rannvijay’s idea to get him to face it too. We thought ek se bhale do! So I made him shave his head and now there are two of us to contend with,” Raghu says gleefully.Well, one thing that never fails to exasperate us hapless viewers is the offbeat choice of contestants. What, exactly, goes on in the combined heads of Raghu and Rajiv? “Well, it’s very easy actually. All we are looking for is someone who’ll be reactive — if he/she is melodramatic, better — one who stands out from the junta; one who will create some kind of spark; and one who can speak Hindi. See, we’re not too difficult…” he trails off!
One can’t let Raghu off without quizzing him about future projects — rumour has it that Bollywood figures. Raghu clarifies, “Film offers are trotting in but they all want to show me as I am in Roadies and I’m certainly not interested. I’m instead happily investing my energies in writing poems/lyrics and, yes, I’m also penning a book,” he signs off.
I’m not scared of being one of the most hated guys around but it’s not a nice thing to receive SMSes threatening to kill you…

Any one who claims to be the youth of India need no introduction to Raghu Ram aka MTV Roadies Raghu.
Having said that many people are dubious on his personal life (eg. From where did he come..) And here I present a quick fact file of Raghu in an attempt to clear those qualms.
Born on 6th June 1973 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh and brought up in New Delhi.
Completed his studies at Woodstock school, Mussoorie and was employed first by MTV England.
Currently he is the senior supervising producer at MTV India and the executive producer of the show MTV Roadies.
Lives in Andheri, Mumbai with his wife Sugandha garg, who featured in the film Jaane tu ya Jaane naa.
The idea of MTV Roadies in MTV India was given by Raghu which was accepted as a test project. After a few negative talks about the show some features were changed and the show went on air the same year. It remained the most watched MTV show for the last three seasons of MTV Roadies.
The auditions of the sixth season of Roadies came in as a surprise to everyone when Rajiv, the twin brother of Raghu made an entry into the show.
Though people know Raghu as a harsh commenter, stubborn person he is a completely different person off the show. He gives great respect to Women and I still remember in one of the audition episode of the Hell Down Under series when he says “I can never respect someone who doesn’t have respect towards women, never”.
That says it all about Raghu.
And I must admit that I’m seeing Raghu a lot in TV these days, in news channels debates, airtel digital TV advertisements etc. Good going Raghu.
Double trouble
Having heard him scream at contestants on the reality show, “Roadies”, apprehension ran high as I prepared for the interview. It has been a hectic day and with nearly 10 contestants to interview, Raghu Ram looks tired. He is, however, eag er to talk about “Roadies”.
He says, “Roadies has been my baby. I had conceived and executed the first season of the show. I did most of the pre-production work as well. It was enjoyable as well as tiring. The attachment with the series has grown over the years and is now an integral part of my life.”
Is his off screen self different from his on-screen avatar? Raghu laughs, “My behaviour depends on the situation.”
“For the series, I want to choose unconventional contestants. You need to be interesting to be in the show. People are hooked to the show, because it is unpredictable and exciting.”
“Surprises are what makes ‘Roadies’ click. This season, my twin brother Rajeev will also be a judge. Those who though that they only have to deal with me during the auditions, are in for a big shock,” he says with a grin. Unlike other shows which look for inspiration abroad, Raghu says “Roadies” is original. “We have patented the show, which has been borrowed by eight countries.”
Talking about the new season, Raghu says: “We had revised the format during ‘Roadies 3’. Another revision is on the cards this season. The numbers of contestants has been increased to 20.”
Ask him to select his favourite season and Raghu says: “The first season will always remain special, since it was the beginning of the long journey. The response and feedback we received after the show spurred us on. I also enjoyed the last season, as with ‘Roadies’ going global, the show achieved an international feel.”
Talking about Bangalore as a venue, Raghu commented: “During the last season, we got mails asking for Bangalore to feature as an audition centres. We have been quite impressed by the level of maturity and awareness youngsters have in this part of the country. I lived in Bangalore nearly 10 years ago. We hope to have a roadie from Bangalore on the show this year.”
A quick recap of MTV roadies till date
MTV Roadies debuted in 2003. The start of the first season was from 15th August 2003. The whole concept was the idea of Raghu Ram who was the associate executive producer at the time. In the start the idea was highly criticized by the heads, but then it got the green signal and in 2003 the first season of Roadies was in front of us.
Initially it was named as MTV: Find The Road but then the name was changed to MTV Roadies. The show started as an experimental project that can go off air anytime. After that the there was no looking back.
In the first two seasons there were just 7 roadies, then in 3rd, 4th and 5th season there were 13 roadies and now in 6th season there are 20 roadies. When the show started, it was based on the concept of finding clues and then figuring out what they meant then the money tasks and immunity tasks were introduced.

Host: VJ Rannvijay, winner of Roadies 1
Tasks to survive on Roadies:
Money task
Immunity task
Advantage task
Bike task
The meanest part of the show -‘Vote outs’. Every episode, one or more Roadies get voted out. This leads to a lot of drama, politics, strategy, etc. as Roadies team up and figure out who to vote against, who is voting against whom and who are expected to vote against them.
And finally the spoils - A Hero Honda Karizma and all the moolah collected during the money tasks. This blood money is the contribution of all 13 Roadies.

Bloodshed In Gandhinagar
There was bloodshed in Gandhinagar! Raghu and Rajiv brought their evil vibes to the latest episode of Roadies and the Brats were decimated not by the hands of the brothers but by womanly wiles and manly delusions.
In the immunity task, Bobby was bullied into stepping into the coffin whereas Dev volunteered to step in for the 'benefit' of his team. The person that was left behind the coffin basically was out of the game and hare-brained Dev got his ass kicked out by an enraged Raghu. And before Raghu too left he bestowed upon the injured cry baby Bobby the right to grant immunity to two people.
Thanks to Dev's foolishness, Om Blues were safe but the Brats lay open to be voted out except for Bobby. As always they wanted to vote Suzanna out but then Bobby felt it might seem that they are picking on her and suggested Natasha's name and Sandeep protected Natasha saying she was his friend whereas Suzanna wasn't all that friendly towards him.
So in a group of pretty women like Roop, Bobby, Natasha and Suzanna megalomaniac Sandeep was irked that one woman was impervious to his boyish charms and wanted her out!
Suzanna knowing her pretty ass was being cooked by the narcissistic team mates sought the help of Samrat who told her to have a word with Tamanna and rest of the Om Blues team.
There had already been bad blood between Kiri and his ex-Brat mates, he couldn't stand the sight of Roop who he considered to be manipulative and Tamana hated Pradeep and Sandeep's guts for causing Nauman's departure.
The goose was cooked that night but it wasn't Suzy's but Roop's. Roop knew Om Blues would turn against her but she hadn't expected Natasha to vote against her as well.
Bobby cried tears of blood for granting immunity to her male buddies and not saving Roop but she hadn't expected Natasha to turn. Indian soap opera at its best!
The sense of betrayal was strong and there was a massive cat fight between the Brats' women (except for close to tears soft spoken Suzanna) where they called Natasha characterless and a conniving woman hiding behind an innocent face but what I saw at work wasn't some animosity due to personality clash between head strong beautiful women.
There was power struggle over the 'boys' between Natasha and Roop. Kiri had already said that Roop held the reins over the boys and that probably irked Natasha. Her response that Roop had to go sometime or the other didn't hold much water. There can only be one queen bee in the hive. Roop wanted Suzanna out since she was prettier and kind of snooty but didn't expect Natasha had a thing against her's and Bobby's bossy behavior. Natasha had kept her dislike well under wraps until the time was right.
A visibly upset Suzanna stood next to Natasha and the divisions between the group had become clear. Sandeep acted like a betrayed Lothario, Pradeep shook his head and Bobby continued to cry crocodile tears. Two against three but luckily for them in the next episode there aren't going to be any more gangs, every Roadie is going to be alone once again.
Next week's episode has some actual mud wrestling matches and get this there are babes lying on the field in shorts accusing each other of trying to pull each other's shirts up.
Yeah, maintaining one's dignity has never been a wannabe Roadie's forte;)
And the visas did come through. Some lucky Roadies (not all) will get to cry some outback croc tears in Australia.
'You can expect the unexpected' :- Ranvijay
MTV Roadies host Ranvijay speaks to Akshata Shetty about the additional highlights of the show and what he thinks of each of the contestants
Roadies is no more about how well you do a task. It’s much more than that,” says MTV’s hot shot host, Ranvijay Singh about the ongoing adventure show.
He says the aim of the makers is to make Roadies bigger and better each year “It’s a format that is well-known, as people have been following it. So when we audition contestants for the show, they are more open. I still remember when I was on the show as a participant, we were new and didn’t know what was happening. But today, these kids know everything.... That’s when you get to see all the fights and arguments on the show. Much like last year, this time also, we go international and it’s going to be Australia. We love India though and have shot at various locations in the country,” he says.
As an added highlight, Roadies has incorporated the ‘Making of the Episode’ post every show. Why? “Showing ‘Behind-the-scenes’ after every episode was a way to show our viewers that each task is tried and tested by our crew and only when it is ascertained to be safe, do we give it the green signal. We are real people after all and undergo stress and pressure. And the response for this part of the show has been overwhelming. Like people know Bumpy the director, Debi, Chhotu and others.”
Roadies is known for its unexpected twists and turns and that’s exactly what happened at the recent ‘vote out’.
Ranvijay says, “Roop was voted out because of Bobby’s decision to make Sandeep and Pradeep safe. Suzanna and Natasha are together. The show is not about luck, it’s all about how you strategise and stay in the game. You could do it in any way... keep a low profile, be nice to someone or play the right politics.”
Apart from all the fights and use of slang language, this series has had some truly funny contestants on board. Someone like Devashri, who everyone seemed to dislike... Ranvijay has a different take though, “I liked him. Whenever I communicated with him, he did sound confident. But I think he imagined some twists in the show that never happened. He goofed up in the last episode and had to be removed by Raghu and Rajiv. He expected to be patted for his leadership quality but his idea backfired,” he tells us.
Next week, the contestants will face another challenge before they fly to Austrailia. So was this season as fun as the previous ones? “More than fun, it has been exhausting. Yes, I did have fun with the unit. And for the further episodes you can still continue to expect the unexpected,” he promises.

THE PERSON BEHIND ROADIES
Raghu Ram is the senior supervising producer at MTV India and the executive producer of the show MTV Roadies. He co-judges the auditions for the MTV Roadies with MTV VJ Rajiv Laxman. He is known for his crude remarks and sharp observation tactics. He is also well known to be ruthless and impatient with the contestants when he takes the auditions. He was given the nickname of jerky idiot for his unique behaviour. "Roadies has travel, adventure, drama, touch of voyeurism..." said Raghu Ram, when asked about the show.[1] However, during the show "Behind the scenes", we get to see a different rather softer side of him. In Roadies 6.0, on the first episode actual "Hell Down Under" (after auditions), Raghu has announced it's "Retirement time" for him.
In an interview to the Hindustan Times, Ram stated that he was born in Machilipatnam present in Andhra Pradesh, brought up in Delhi. He studied at Woodstock School, Mussoorie, completing his graduation, and started in MTV roadies, UK.[2][3] Raghu's idea of MTV Roadies was accepted as an experimental project by MTV, India.
As of March 2008, Ram continues to act as the senior supervising producer and co-creative head at MTV India. Ram started work at MTV India supervising shows like MTV Love Line with VJ's Malaika Arora Khan and Cyrus Broacha and also lead MTV Select and the first few seasons of MTV Super Select with VJ Nikhil Chinapa. He has also lent his hand to various shows at MTV, sometimes being uncredited.
Raghu Ram was given his first solo project at MTV, in the year 2000. The show was tentatively titled MTV: Find The Road. The show, originally, was to revolve around contestants traveling around the country on their motorcycles, using clues and hints provided on the show. The concept of clues, however, was eventually replaced with tasks and challenges. The shows format initially faced severe criticism from the MTV heads due to its vulgar content, audience value and also it's name, but was later given the green light as an "experimental show that could go off-air anytime". The name of the show was later changed to MTV Roadies. It has remained the highest rated MTV show for 3 consecutive years.
Past winners include Rannvijay, who was one of the winners of first season of Roadies, and he currently works as a VJ at MTV. The second winner was Ayushman, who currently hosts a show called Wassup MTV, along with Bani J, who was a runner up of the fourth season. The third season winner was Parul, and Anthony won the fourth season. The fifth season was won by Ashutosh Kaushik.
Raghu Ram currently resides in Mumbai, and owns a house in Andheri. He also holds 1% of the total MTV India shares in the form of music and television copyrights, like many of the other producers working on the show for the channel. He is currently a full time part of the MTV senior crew. Rumored to be a clubbing addict, he is often spotted at various clubs and parties all around the city. After making guest appearances in MTV Roadies 5.0, Raghu made an appearance in MTV's reality show MTV Splitsvilla on June 28, 2008. He is a staunch critic of Hinduism and has declared that he will do everything to remove Hinduism from India.
Raghu Ram is divorced once and had earlier been in live-in relationship with one of his secretaries Nisha. He recently got married to Sugandha Garg (who played "Shaleen" in the movie "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na"). He has been criticized by many women rights groups for divorcing his first wife on grounds of her religiosity. According to reports, Raghu Ram was unhappy with the Hindu way of life of his first wife and hence he divorced her and chose Nisha, a Catholic. Finally, he agreed to marry Sugandha.

Tete-a-tete with your VJ
You won the first season of MTV Roadies. And since then, you've become a VJ and the host of Roadies. What made you audition for Roadies? And how did you become a VJ?
After graduation, I was all set to join the army in 2 months. My family has been in the Indian Army for 6 generations. My dad is a brigadier, my brother is in the navy. Then the Roadies auditions came along, and I thought about it - on one hand, I would have had a 40 year career set out before me, with no problems - housing, medical, everything would be set with the Army. And on the other hand, was MTV and the uncertainty that came along with auditioning. But my dad supported me. He didn't want me to regret it 20 years down the line.
Funnily enough, when I auditioned, and throughout Roadies, I just knew I would make it. Plus, it was the bike that motivated me to audition in the first place. I just really wanted to win the bike! Then after the show ended, I was pretty popular…people liked me. The MTV producers asked me to try Veejaying and not join the army. The liked the way I interacted with people. I was very camera shy, but I thought it would be fun. I think that was the hand of fate. I ended up in a totally different profession.
And as a child, what did you want to do?
I wanted to be a sports star - a basketball player. I wanted to get paid playing my favorite sport.
You've done a few films too? Do you plan to continue making movies?
Yes, I recently did Mumbai Cutting. And I have a couple of films lined up for this year. Once I became a VJ, I knew I'd be doing movies. I'm a very filmy person, as in, I watch a lot of movies; I'm a movie buff and a film critic.
So if you had to choose between MTV glory and Bollywood fame?
Done the former, waiting for the latter!
You mentioned you're a bike lover? When did the love start, and how many bikes do you own?
I'm crazy about bikes really. Everyone knows me as a biker. On my 1st birthday, I was given a tricycle. I rode it well! And by the time I was 8, I was teaching kids older than me how to ride cycles. By 14, I used to maro bikes from people…as in, ask them to let me ride. Then my dad bought me a bike - a Hero Honda Splendor. It's a Sports bike. I have a few other bikes - a Suzuki GSX 600, a Kawasaki Ninja, a 225 CC modified Hero Honda Karisma which I won on Roadies, a 50 CC Pocket bike and a Royal Enfield Bullet.
Do you play any sports apart from basketball? What do you do to maintain your body?
Yes, I'm a complete sportsman. I play all kinds of sports and I love outdoor activities. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs. My adrenaline rush is being in the outdoors and doing something adventurous. That's the high that comes with Roadies - I try all the tasks myself. I play a lot of basketball. I like playing soccer in the rain, Table Tennis in the office. And I go to the gym to run once in a while, or when I'm doing Roadies.
Do you believe in God?
100%. I'm not religious but I believe I have a one to one connection with God. I imagine talking to someone. I love Gurunanak. I love any religious place. I find them very peaceful.
Who matters to you the most in your life?
My younger brother. My mum and my dad. And my friends too.
The perfect girl to you is someone who….
Well, beautiful or not, that girl needs to be confident and carry herself confidently. However beautiful she is, if she's dumb, she's dumb. If she's not stylish, it's okay. But don't wear things you end up looking silly in. That's what wannabes do. She should have a firm head over her shoulders. And needs to be spontaneous, because I am, I'm very adventurous.
Aids awareness is one of causes you support right?
Yes. But I also am involved with Fight Back, which is a network 18 initiative to fight against female oppression in every form. Raghu is also involved now.

Roadies' Host- RANVIJAY SINGH SINGHA
RANVIJAY SINGH SINGHA
When this 25-year-old biker took part in the first season of the adventure reality show, MTV Roadies, in 2003, he was just interested in winning a Hero Honda Karizma. But Ranvijay Singh Singha ended up winning the show and the producers offered him a job with the channel.
“They thought I came across as camera-friendly and natural,” he says. “Talking is my forte. I love doing it and then getting paid for it. Every day is different.”
Besides hosting Roadies, Singha has been a VJ and presenter, and has also dabbled in movies and events. “I love Roadies as I’m big on adventure activities. As the host, I get to try out all the tasks and do some crazy stunts.” On the show, Singha speaks mostly in Hindi, which he thinks makes him stands out.
“Very few VJs speak in Hindi. I do, because I can reach a wider audience and more people can relate to me.” The budding actor was recently in Punjab to shoot for the film, London Dreams, by Vipul Shah, starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.
Originally from Jalandhar, Singha is from a family of army men. After completing his B.Com from Delhi’s Hansraj College, he too was planning to join the army, like the preceding five generations, until Roadies happened. “There was no civilian in the family until I decided to break out. I didn’t have any contacts in the industry.”
Singha’s life is now an exhilarating whirlwind of activity which includes extensive travel and little sleep. Any free time is spent playing sports, video games or riding one of his five motorbikes.
He recommends VJing to other Punjabis: “If you have the attitude and energy to go on and on, you’ll enjoy it. Punjabis would be great at such jobs. They have the energy, endurance and love to express themselves.” Most importantly, he says, “Be yourself and be natural, Don’t try too hard.”
HERE'S WHAT WIKIPEDIA SAYS ABOUT HIM

MTV Hero Honda Roadies a Rip-Off??
MTV Hero Honda Roadies is the longest running reality television series in India and is currently in its sixth season....
The show was created by Raghu Ram and is hosted by Rannvijay. "Roadies has travel, adventure, drama, touch of voyeurism..." said Raghu Ram, when asked about the show. The maximum prize for winning the show is Rs 500,000.
And so we all had thought it was the first genuinely created reality show in India not a ripoff like other reality shows...
If You think so then thats probably wrong....Because sadly its another of one those "inspired" reality show...
And the show from which Our Longest Running Reality show in India is inspired is.....
MTV Road Rules
MTV Road Rules,MTV's second reality show, debuted on July 19, 1995 and has completed 15 seasons. The ground-breaking series was a pioneer in travel/adventure/reward reality television...
The start of it all
MTV Roadies is a popular reality television show which airs on MTV India. The show was created by Raghu Ram and is hosted by Rannvijay. When asked about the show, Raghu said, "Roadies has travel, adventure, drama, touch of voyeurism..
Auditions are held in various major cities in India. People who turn up for the audition are made to undergo a group discussion, following which, selected candidates are chosen for personal interview conducted by the twins Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman. The interview round is deliberately acrimonious to test the participant's attitude, tolerance and patience levels. In the first two seasons, 7 Roadies were selected. Since then, this number has been increased to 13. There is no limit as to how many times a person can audition. For Season Six, 20 roadies were selected from the Interviews.
The selected Roadies are provided with Hero Honda Karizma bikes to travel on a pre-decided route. Each episode features a vote-out, at the end in which the Roadies eliminate one of their fellow Roadies by an anonymous vote, thereby decreasing the number of Roadies carrying on with the journey.
Each episode consists of number of tasks or challenges which they have to perform. These tasks can be either "Money tasks" or "Immunity tasks". In the "Money tasks", the Roadies add cash to their account on successful completion of these tasks while in "Immunity tasks", the team which wins gets Immunity. The team which attains Immunity becomes safe from vote-out i.e its members cannot be voted-out in that particular episode.
The above mentioned tasks are either team-based (i.e. performed between two or more teams) or individual-based (i.e. performed one-on-one). At the end of scheduled journey, the last Roadie who survives till the end is declared the winner and walks away with the total cash accumulated by performing the money tasks. The fifth season was the first time when an Advantage task was introduced. The winner(s) of an Advantage task get(s) some advantage in the vote out, which may include multiple votes or being the only one(s) to vote in the vote-out.
The Indian version of the show is based on the original MTV reality show Road Rules which started in the year 1995.
